Design and feel:
Something which was adored about the original Xperia Arc was its actual shape. The name itself depicts that phone has an arched back, so it permanently looks like it’s performing some weird yoga move. Well the curved rear is extremely classy, and it means the middle of the phone is really slim, so when you are holding it in your hands, you will hardly notice it’s there. Its very light too, so lugging it about all day won’t get tiresome. The top as well as the bottom of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S are curved. There are three buttons along the bottom back, home and menu. These will be used, along the phone’s touchscreen to navigate the Android 2.3 interface.
The phone has a 4.2 inch panel that outputs an astonishing level of brightness. Best of all, the actual screen itself is incredibly close to the surface of the touchscreen which lends the whole mobile a wonderfully classy feel.
Beefed up 1.4 GHz processor:
Well the Xperia Arc S differs from its predecessor in that it packs a more powerful processor. While the original Arc’s processor was clocked at 1 GHz, his one consists of 1.4 GHz. How much difference that will actually make is hard to tell. (more…)
