Motorola has launched its new phone DRIOD 2, which is launched after the MOTOROLA DRIOD. It is the fifth phone in DRIOD series of MOTOROLA. It has some of its features from its predecessor and some improvised features. It is the new smart phone by MOTOROLA/. It runs on Android operating system which is launched by GOOGLE and is also capable of running FLASH PLAYER.

It has 8 GB memory that can be extendable to 32 GB memory, it has 3.7 inch’s screen and 5 MP build in camera. It has an improvised keyboard from the DRIOD X QWERTY keyboard but its keypad is same as of previous version of this model. It has some powerful features like calling over Bluetooth, camera improvement etc. like other android smart phone in this device we can access our email on sites and also access some social networking site ,u can also check  corporate mail all u have to do is add  some information about sever.

The sales of this mobile has began on 11 august 2010.Till September this device will add another exclusive “Star Wars” content and hardware design to look like R2 D2.
