Nokia N900 hit the mobile market with first Linux Maemo 5 Gadgets

Nokia has officially announced its new Nokia’s Maemo5 OS widget. It’s a stunning looking gadget with QWERTY keypads. Moreover it also has a big WVGA touchscreen which makes the experience unforgettable. The first Linux Maemo 5 operating system based handset with a processor of ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX530 graphics, and is said to be available in the market by the end of June 2010.


The Nokia N900 device has been called as the “internet tablet”. It has a 5 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus with 3X digital zoom, Dual LED flash; video light, 3D graphics accelerator with OpenGL ES 2.0 support, Stereo FM radio with FM transmitter makes the Nokia N900 mobile an almost complete entertainment box. A 3.5 mm audio-jack is also accompanied by the phone.


Among features of connectivity of Nokia N900 handset, it shall be supported by Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and Infrared port, Quad band GSM with class 32 GPRS and EDGE, Data transfers over Wi-Fi at 54Mbps 802.11 b/g, DLNA, Data transfers over a cellular network HSDPA at 10Mbps and HSUPA at 2Mbps, and 3.5G and WLAN connectivity.


The Smartphone also features a full set of applications as Photo editor, PDF document viewer, Adobe Flash Player 9.4, WMV /Real Video /MP4 /AVI /XviD /DivX video player and Pre-loaded Ovi Maps application, Skype and Google Talk.
