Samsung Showcases Bada-based Wave 723 Handset

Samsung has started its new smartphone based on company’s Bada OS; it’s second after the earlier launched Wave device and complete with its own TouchWiz 3.0 interface. It has released a low-end option for Wave, known as Wave 723, a new addition of this device are powered by Samsung's proprietary Bada OS.

The phone supports a 3.3 inch TFT-LCD touch-enabled display screen with a 240x400 pixels resolution, less than a sixth of that of the iPhone 4, a 5-megapixel camera with a LED flash, built-in Accelerometer, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a slot for MicroSD memory card.

The phone is expected to be released in end of September and there’s no information of its pricing yet. Samsung is the only company with four different mobile operating systems on the market.
